The following is credited to the Red Ensign Sociey of Canada on Facebook: "Axel Ravera My 1868-1921 Canadian Red Ensign. The flag that flew over Canadian soldiers in the Fenian Raids of 1870, Northwest Rebellion of 1885, South African War 1899-1902, and the First World War 1914-1918. As a current Canadian soldier I am proud to have this flag and continue the tradition. Nice quality reproduction from amazon, proudly displayed for all to see."... Also the flag flown by the North-West & Royal North-West Mounted Police and flown at the North-West Mounted Police Commemorative Association's (NWMPCA) travelling historic Patrol Camps display and one has been dontated by the NWMPCA to the Bar U Ranch National Historic Site near Longview AB.
