Meet Titus. Unfortunately this young pup suffered severe frost bite to his back leg. So badly was the damage that his leg had to be amputated. There was no option but to have the surgery. This amazing little guy is only a few months old but shows the courage and positivity that only a dog can. GSAH did a wonderful job taking care of Titus since we flew him down from Nunavut last weekend. His surgery and medical care will cost us a lot even with our generous discount so we would appreciate any donations to help. Jinx is still looking for her home. She is a perfect dog inside the home. Lovable and very affectionate. Her only limitation is she is fear aggressive with dogs. She cannot be with other dogs unless muzzled. Jinx loves a ball to chase and absolutely loves human snuggles.

Good Morning. We are in need of medium and large martingale collars for our dogs as well as shallow /wide cats food dishes. The collars are the best to securely walk our dogs and the shallow dishes are great for the cats whose long whiskers cause problems for them with deep dishes. Thanks very much.

We are looking for someone willing to drive from Cochrane to Edmonton willing to escort 8 kittens. We are trying to get them to Yellowknife ultimately. We will need someone to hold them until we can get them on the Canadian north cargo flight which is an early morning flight from Edmonton.

Meet Bomber. He is the newest addition to the shelter. He is a big handsome guy looking for an active family.

Handsome Finn is a unique dog. He is not liking mushing but would rather be a couch dog. He loves kids and dogs but afraid of adult humans. He will attach to one person and that is it. He is about two years old.

Public hours are cancelled tonight for Remembrance Day. Volunteers who have done orientations for dog walking are welcome and anyone who has made an appointment with Dana.
