** MEDIA WOES... and a trash talking NDP MPP France Gelinas. ** Well its been over a month, and despite trying to get a proper correction done in the media, the NDP MPP France Gelinas, never returned my call. It started when Sudbury District Health Unit called to inform me that my daughter had no MMR vaccines. This was incorrect, as she did have them. A records error at SDHU proved this eventually. They also had no record that my daughter suffered a severe reaction to the Men...ingococcal ACYW-135 vaccine or HEP B. This was to be administered at her school within 4 days. Having no choice I opted to exercise my rights and get a statement of Conscience or Religious belief form signed to avoid having my daughter expelled from school and give some time to sort out an immunization records mess. This form was also recommended by SDHU. The school was also threatening my daughter. NDP MPP France Gelina's office refused to sign my form. I left my name and number, no call was returned. I also expressed on several occasion to the Northern Life media writer that we should have a joint discussion with Gelinas over the pressing matter. This was recorded. No discussion ever took place, and the article was published prematurely. I even stated during the discussion with the writer that some information was still needed by SDHU. France Gelinas instead of calling me back, or even consulting as to why I needed the form signed, went on her merry way to speak to several media agencies under her own false assumptions. Plenty of time there, but no time for a constituent? CBC, National Post, and others, all printed articles without actually ever interviewing me. They didn't seem to have an issue cutting and pasting Northern Life's false article, and adding their own spin to it. It's a sad day when an elected official has to ride the backs of a family in distress without actually contacting them, all to gain ground for fake political fame. Meanwhile, my daughter at school was taunted, called names, told she was a disease and dirty. I was painted as anti vaccine, which I'm not. All this because of a selfish self centered MPP, and horrible lazy media personnel. I don't blame the whole media organization. * I have phone records, recorded voice conversations, witnesses, emails, and web material to back up anything I say. See more

Our latest news article. We'd like to thank CBC English Radio for pointing out errors in our Ontario Vaccination records system. This was also a partial retraction on events that occurred in March 2015 this year. Our founder Mark Nyman had come under some false media coverage, and was cast as anti-vaccine by NDP MPP France Gelinas. We were deeply disappointed to learn from Mr. Gregory Taylor - Chief Public Health Officer at the department of Public Health Canada, that the current Federal Government will not under any circumstances provide funding for persons who have suffered illness or injury due to unforeseen reactions to vaccines in Canada. Canada remains one of only 2 countries in the G8 to provide no form of support to persons who have been injured or disabled due to unforeseen reactions to vaccine...s every year. The Nyman foundation is deeply committed to the cause of supporting these persons and we deeply regret that the Chief Public Health Officer seems uncommitted to this cause. We can only hope that through our continuing effort of education and awareness we'll be able to change hearts and minds where it matters.
