This weeks spotlight is Kelly Dewling! Kelly takes part in our Hybrid Accountability Program remotely and is crushing it so far! Kelly: Well all I can say is wow... I actually stumbled across the program on Facebook and I clicked the link like I am sure many have before and will and decided to sign up for a 9 week program. I managed to luck out...and I mean really luck out as I got Christie for my coach. For the first time in a long time during my weight loss journey som...eone actually listened to me and what I like and don’t like. She is quick to get back to me for any questions and concerns I may have...I am only 4 weeks in to my 9 week program and have already seen 20.5 inches lost over all that I have already signed up for another 20 weeks (Christie may be sick of me by then). In just a couple of days I will be celebrating my 50th birthday and I feel healthier than I have in such a long time. My original goal was to get back to 143 pounds my weight when I quit smoking in 2017. Now that I am just 11 pounds away my new goal is to reach 130 and to build muscle... I am so excited to see where this journey is taking me. Thank you Christie for everything! Eat.Train.Sleep.Be Well!

Just a reminder on our Mask Policy: Effective December 21, 2020 masks will be required upon entering the facility, in the common areas (front desk, bathrooms,childminding), when not performing a set, when walking around the weight room, and when leaving the facility. A mask will NOT be required while exercising or performing a set. Please continue to wipe down equipment before and after usage and to maintain social distancing protocols. Thank you! ... Reminder of COVID Protocol for O2 Wellness We want to continue to provide a safe reopening environment for everyone who walks through our doors in accordance with Nova Scotia’s Health Protection Order and our sector specific plan. Controlled Access- when arriving at the facility the interior mall entrance will be the dedicated entrance during our reopening phase, with the exterior doors as our exit. You will be asked to enter the facility one at a time to abide by socia...l distancing guidelines. Pre-Screening COVID-19 Questionnaire to be completed upon entry. We have also begun doing non contact forehead temperature readings upon entry to ensure the safety of our members. Directional Cues will be found on the floor to regulate traffic flow throughout the facility. Towel services and water fountains will not be available. We encourage members to come to the facility in workout attire. Change rooms are available, but locker usage will be limited to every second locker to help ensure social distancing in these high traffic areas. Classes will be limited to 10 participants to ensure physical distancing requirements are met.Our class schedule will remain with the interim schedule currently posted on our website. Hand sanitizing station will be available throughout the facility and encourage members to sanitize their hands diligently before entering the main gym area and throughout your workout. We encourage the use of contactless payment methods. Masks must be worn in the common areas (front desk area, bathrooms, childminding). Members are asked to disinfect their equipment before and after usage. We will be monitoring to ensure these requirements are met and enforcing. Failure to comply can result in suspension of membership privileges for the day. In addition to our Purell Wipe Stations, we will supply spray bottles and paper towel with COVID-19 approved disinfecting solution throughout the facility.
