Dependent children are also eligible for ABI. If you have a child that is not registered for benefit coverage, contact us with their name, date of birth and gender. We will ensure they are added to the plan!

There are two steps to enrolling in ABI: 1. You must complete the online application at www.oacas.org/abi. 2. You must have your former worker send a verification on your behalf to confirm your eligibility for the program. If you are an adopted youth, you must submit a copy of your adoption order by email to [email protected].

As of this summer, youth adopted on or after June 1, 2016 are eligible for ABI. To apply, complete the application form at www.oacas.org/abi and then submit a copy of your adoption order to OACAS by email ([email protected]) or by fax (416-366-8317). Don’t have your adoption order? You can request a copy from the Ontario Government.
