I settled in and went to work on this rig. Though it doesn’t always happen I really enjoyed the process on this one. 4.5 hours of only trying this thing finally paid off but either way a memorable experience despite a rainy day. Never in a hurry Never worried Never desperate Never stopping short This quote ( from the book the obstacle is the way)popped into my head after reflecting on this process. Trying to reframe our successes as not just our desired end result but the journey on how we got there. So whether it’s you being afraid to unroll your yoga mat in a weird place and being skeptical of what people would think... or it’s bigger than that. Don’t ask for permission. Run. And when someone puts you down, ask yourself: is their comment relevant? Should I even take advice from them (aka are they living a life that you’d want to live?) and lastly, does it even serve you to CARE what they think.
