Happy New Year from your OADG board of directors! :) And a gentle reminder -- especially if you use your provincial membership as the insurance provider for horse shows and clinics -- remember to renew your Ontario Equestrian or your Quebec membership for 2021.

The 2021 Equestrian Canada (EC) rules are now available online at www.equestrian.ca/programs-services/rules. For the 2021 Rules, the EC Technical Department and National Rules Committee (NRC) adopted an adapted rule amendment process due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Changes to the EC Rules for 2021 were made through a condensed process similar to that of the Extraordinary Rule Amendment Process. As part of the adapted process, Rule Change Proposals (RCP) were limited to only those deemed essential. The EC Board has approved the final 2021 EC Rules, which are now available online in a clean digital version, as well as a version with changes from 2020 visible.

As a follow-up to an earlier post... Final answer is... helmets required, no top hats allowed for all dressage, including FEI.
