Hi Everyone We just wanted to update everyone on our hospitals latest protocols to ensure we maintain the highest standard of care to our patients during this national health crisis. If you have visited the hospital in the last couple days, we’re sure you are aware of the protocols but we would like to reiterate to ensure everyone is on the same page! Scheduled appointments: When you arrive, please stay in your vehicle or in the parking lot and call the hospital at 604-73...9-7111 and we will come out to take history and/or take history over the phone. Patients will be taken in the hospital for examination by the doctor. Interactions with clients including consultations, consenting to recommended treatments and payments will be done over the phone to practice safe social distancing. Front door service: If are are visiting the hospital for medication / food pick ups, please give us a call. We will take payments over the phone and bring out the item needed to be picked up. No pet belongings in the hospital! Blankets, leashes, collars, toys, carriers, etc. will not be allowed to stay with the pet while they are in the hospital. Payments: We are trying to limit to taking credit card only at this time. Opening hours: We have shortened our hours to 9am-5pm, 7 days a week to decrease possible spread of the virus. If you are experiencing any symptoms showing fever, cough, shortness of breath, we will be happy to reschedule your appointment. If your pet needs urgent medical attention, please arrange for someone else to bring your pet to their appointment. Please stay safe everyone, let’s battle this virus together! -Oak Animal Hospital
