The night was perfect. Shinook like breezes flowed through the river bed while the sun set turning the sky and water into cotton candy. Hello Everyone! Janell + Ryan here! We have an important update for you all! We have been SO busy behind the scenes re-vamping the business to be more luxury grade in your final product. If you have been trying to get a hold of us with no avail, we do thank you for your patience. We are currently closed for bookings until November while we fine tune everything but you can pre-book for November and beyond! ... We will be focusing mainly on our boudoir and wedding/couples side of the business with all other portrait availability super limited. With how long it takes us for us to create our art for you all from start to finish, we think it is only appropriate to change to in person sales. We will be product focused so that our clients are having properly printed keepsakes to last! We will be focusing on luxury grade leather bound albums with museum grade paper, framed canvas wall prints, mounted print wall sets and folio boxes. The shoot and burn method is quite literally burning us out. We appreciate all the understanding from those that are used to receiving all the digital files for a fraction of the new cost but we really want to be able to provide a better service for the type of work we offer and this is the only way to give our all! Boudoir has been going great and has same day gallery reveals! You can be involved and the only to know of any themes or specials going on at Boudie Babes | Luxe Boudoir by Oak + Pearl (ladies only and no photographers please) We want to be able to work more closely with our clients from start to finish and we are so excited to continue the launch of our new business model! Those in Janell Connors Photography VIP's will be the ones to know of any specials going on with portraits and will have updated info on available dates, etc. Both groups mentioned above will be having a giveaway soon! You must be part of the groups to take part! As for weddings, those are FULL until 2022. We have been working hard behind the scenes making big changes! We have changed how we do business to ensure our clients are receiving high end product with their images. We have always been a service that puts a lot of thought and work into each shoot and each image and want to make sure we can create collections to properly give our time, talent and awesome product to our clients! We have missed some messages and emails due to all the changes being made as well as many las...t minute wedding dates, etc. It's a crazy time for sure but we are getting a handle on things. These two came in to celebrate their 1 year anniversary and they had the most insane skies from start to finish!

We had a few graduates in the family this year! Our son, my niece and my nephew. This right here is my niece! So proud of this amazing young lady! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * We offer studio or outdoor grad packages or both!... These sessions are dedicated to JUST the graduate. They can add their escort or pet but that is it. We want the session to be exactly at a time that works for our style as well as focus just on the graduate and THEIR time to shine! It's a lot of work to get to this moment. After 18 years of getting to that place in their life, they deserve an amazing photo session to document that accomplishment! Plus they are great for us parents to show them off as well <3 These collections will all be geared toward going home with product so that they can have these amazing keepsakes!

We are gearing up to kick off our Luxe Boudoir services! Most of what we do in that whole category will be posted in Oak + Pearl Boudie Babes (ladies only) But the odd thing we will post here! Lauren had booked in right before lockdown which lead to having to reschedule. We were finally able to shoot today!
