Oak Bay Pet Clinic 22.11.2020

We are pleased to announce an extension to our hours to 930-530 Mon to Fri, Saturdays 10-3 for food and product. We are also taking appointments for annual examinations, vaccinations and elective surgeries. We accept new patients and will be further expanding our hours in July so stay tuned! Thank you for your patience as we try to social distance and operate with less personnel. Please continue to call us when you arrive for your appointment and wait outside the clinic if you see people inside. We are trying to manage more than one person in the clinic but it takes time and extra hygiene. See you soon! Eva Maegan Sio Rachael

Hello to all our lovely clients! We hope everyone is trying to stay home and allowing our non-human family members give us the routines and emotional comfort we need from them at this time. To try and keep everyone safe during this uncertain time, we are instituting some strict protocols for everyone entering our premises. Please be patient and cognizant that these efforts mitigate risk for us all.... Guidelines: 1. We are allowing only one person at a time into our facility. Our front door will remain open but please wait outside if you see someone in the front area. Please leave via the side door. We will no longer allow access to our back door through our clinic. 2. We ask everyone try and pay with credit cards over the phone. Please call ahead for your food and we will place it at our back door once you arrive. We will no longer accept cash payments. 3. We are still taking appointments for our long term patients and sick animals, emergencies. Please wait in your car and call us on arrival. We will perform a history over the phone with the doctor, and then will ask you to either drop your kennel off at the back four or hand off the leash to a staff member at the back door. We will keep your pet until all approved treatments have been performed then give them back in the same manner after payment over the phone. We will allow individual cases into the clinic- terminally ill requiring humane euthanasia and extremely anxious pets requiring their owners. 4. We will not be performing elective surgical procedures after April 1. 5. We will be wearing masks, gowns and gloves when dealing with the public. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We can get through this together if we all help each other. We will stay open as long as the officials allow us to be, as we know how important our pets are in needing medical and nutritional supplies. Dr. Eva Dudzic and the Oak Bay Pet Clinic Team
