Police investigating human remains in Dartmouth. ************************************ HRP NEWS RELEASE ------------------------------------- At approximately 10:30 a.m. On 3/12/21 police received a report of what was believed to be human remains in a wooded area near Elliott Street in Dartmouth. Police located the remains at that location and the Medical Examiner’s Office have confirmed them to be human. ... Investigators from the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating and as the investigation is in the early stages no further information is available at this time. Investigators are asking anyone with information in relation to the remains to call police at 902-490-5020. Police are now in a position to identify the victim as 25-year-old Joseph Beals of Dartmouth.

25 year old Dartmouth man dies in Hospital after a shooting on Mt Edward rd in Dartmouth Saturday evening that saw his car crash into a power pole. The case is now a Homicide as Police continue their investigation.
