Oakville Kenjutsu 29.06.2021

We live in exceptional times, and as practitioners of self defense, we must stay vigilant for the safety of ourselves and others. It is for this reason that I will be suspending classes until further notice. My teacher had once said (and I paraphrase) we learn to defend ourselves so that if we are attacked in the street, we can be safe. A better defense is to stay clear of those who may attack us if they see us. The best defense is to stay away from streets that may be of da...nger. These days our best defense, for the safety of ourselves and others, is to avoid the streets altogether. I highly encourage everyone to stay in your homes as often as possible. It is our collective responsibility to care for others by caring for ourselves. Stay safe and be safe for the safety of everyone.
