My office is easing into this new reality of doing things... some of my PPE is still on back-order, these new changes are stressful (for me AND my patients), my... glasses fog up, my face shield fogs up, it’s hard to breath and it’s hot under there! ... but notes like these make all of this worthwhile! Thank you for your patience as I get through the re-scheduling of appointments that were cancelled due to the closure over the last 2.5 months!

Audiologists in the province of Ontario have received a directive from the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and from... the government of Ontario to cease all non-essential and elective services, until further notice. As the COVID-19 outbreak evolves, there will be continual review of emerging evidence to understand the most appropriate measures to take to protect health care providers and patients. This will continue to be done in collaboration with health system partners and technical experts from Public Health Ontario and with the health system. Even with the office being essentially closed, I will have access to email ([email protected]) and will be checking voice mails (905-849-7560, xt. 4) throughout the day. Please check back here on Facebook for updates in the coming days and weeks!
