This Dental office stands for an excellent care, holistic approach to dental concerns and individualized patient care. There are so many clinics around the corners in our area (Pembroke, ON) but still my wife and I chose to drive 450 km one way for a very simple reason: Dr. Rodica Bighiu is a skilled, knowledgeable, gentle and caring dentist and we trust her.

The service is good but still to be improved. 3 times for one person dental cleaning is a little bitter low efficient.

My family just moved in Burlington and we found Dr. Bighiu after many searches. It is so hard to find a good doctor in this area. We started with cleaning for me and my husband and we continued with the cleaning for the two kids. The older girl needed a filling and Dr. Bighiu did it. She worked so gentle and professional with my kid that she did't said nothing. Certainly, Dr. B. knows how to work with the children : she explained the process before and she worked like she was playing . I love the fact that Dr. Bighiu has all the best equipment and skills to support your needs. Dr. Bighiu has a beautiful warm and caring personality. She also can offer a holistic approaches such as: Remineralizing your teeth in to reverse tooth decay. First of all if you have mercury fillings in your mouth, it is essential to have them removed and replaced by a qualified safe mercury removals method and she is certified to do so and there are very few dentists in Ontario ...that have the proper training but Dr. Bighiu is certified to safely remove the toxic mercury from your mouth & replace the mercury fillings with safe and friendly amalgams for your teeth. Also, I had a ceramic dental implant that looks fantastic. Dr. Bighiu offered me an option of going directly to the manufacturer (Excalibur in Oakville, Ontario) to ensure my dental implant has the perfect shape and colour match. Excalibur did a fantastic job as well - I went for 2 vists to ensure the size and colour were perfect and it was worth the drive because if your are spending quite a bit of money for your dental implant, you want to be totally satisfied and I am extremely happy with my implant. Dr. Bighiu is certified to do ceramic dental implants and the body accepts ceramic very well and there is no risk of cancer. Titanium implants have been linked to cancer so in my opinion, I would never go titanium .....it's not worth the risk. FYI - Go ceramic implants - they look great with no grey border, they are strong, the body likes ceramic and there are no possible toxic side-effects.

I know Dr. Bighiu since early 2005. I have crowns, root canals, surgeries, implants done at her office. She always explained to me all the pros and cons of the treatment so that I can make an independent judgment. My family and I have been pleased with her professional, yet personable service. I have had the hyperactive gag reflex since I was a kid, and it was almost impossible for my previous dentists to work on me. Few years ago Ive switched to Dr. Bighiu and, using the nitrous oxide sedation, she performed miracles. Dr. Bighiu is hands down, the most skilled, gentle, and patient dentist I have ever been to. Recently, I had 2 dental implants with crowns done by her and the quality of the work is outstanding (also the lab shes using did a great job). Highly recommended!

I have had nothing but great experiences at Oakville North Dentisrty. Dr. Deniz explained everything thoroughly and was very gentle.

I have been with my previous dental clinic over 10-year in Oakville. Last year, Dr. Bighiu has just opened her new dental office that is located very close to my home. As I know, there are only a small number of holistic organic dentists in Ontario. Dr. Rodica Bighiu is one of them. May 2016 is my 1st visit their new office as a new patient. I want to see what makes it different from other general dental clinic. Their clinic is well-equipped with newer technology machines... and much less radiation. It is a very nice and welcoming place. Dr. Rodica Bighiu has done a great job to examine my teeth and give me some great advices. As I have had a few of bad experiences with teeth cleaning and the gum line filling for exposed root surface was not bonded well after a few months, Dr. Bighiu suggested that I tried one of gum line filling to test the tooth if it was able to bond well. Then I could consider to do more. Dr. Bighiu did a great job. In a couple of months, I did the rest to refill the gum line for the other teeth exposure the roots. I also ordered a night guard from her. OMG, the nightguard is the best material. It has a nice clean look. I was impressed when I saw it. I feel so comfortable when I am wearing it especially I have a kind of unusal bite. My old nightguard has changed the color after few months. I have used this NEW NIGHTGUARD from Dr. Bighiu for at least 8-9 months. It still looks the same no color changed. I love it so much and I am telling everybody. The best nightguard I ever have. Staff in their dental clinic is very nice and friendly, like Niurka and Emilla. The newer holistic hygenist also did a great job for my teeth cleaning. I have no hesitation to recommend any friends and clients to them. Big thumb up to Dr. Rodica Bighiu!

I have been a patient of Dr. Bighiu since 2005 and I am extremely satisfied with the treatment and care I have received during all this time. Dr. Bighiu is very competent, attentive to details, and whenever an intervention is required communicates what needs to be done in a manner that alleviates any worries I may have; all the interventions I went through were successful (and pain free) and there was never a need to re-do or correct work done on a previous intervention. The ... staff at the clinic is friendly, polite and very punctual (over all these years I dont recall having to wait more the 5 min past the appointment time); the medical staff that performs my dental cleaning is very attentive and well prepared, and always provides me with guidance and pro-active advice to help improve my overall dental health. The clinic facilities are very clean, the waiting room is spacious and very comfortable (not that I get to spend much time in there ). See more

I have been a patient of Dr. Bighiu for 12 years and can't imagine seeing another dentist. I never have to wait for my appointment. She is very skilled and works efficiently. Dr. Bighiu ensures that there is no pain in her treatment. Most of all, it is easy to see that she truly cares about my comfort and health. She is the best!

Highly recommend Dr. Rodica Bighiu and Oakville North Dentistry At first the office staff and the office itself make a positive impression. I had been seeing the same dentist for 30 years, last summer I started have problems with a tooth and as I no longer hear well enough to make phone calls when at work I had requested to communicate by email.. The response was a no, we are not allowed to email. Not happy with that, once passed that, I learned that the tooth needed to ...be pulled and the infection to be cleaned out. I was referred to an Oral Surgeon. He had bad manner and did only enough to charge too much for his time of maybe 15 minute. However he did not clean out the infection. When I asked he just said Oh it will just come out on its own IT DID NOT. So I did some research and learned that if I went through with the implant he recommended it may have caused even more health problems. This is what lead me to the Oakville North Dentistry. I have been very happy with the overall treatment of Dr. R Bighiu and her supportive Staff. They show a caring humane attitude that is severely lacking in the medical fields. Dr. Bighiu also went beyond by contacting my health care provider (notice I did not say doctor) so she had a good understanding of the health issues I have. I am very happy I did not just go along with the other dentist that believed if its OK for one person then its OK for everyone. (I just want to take your money)
