Patients & Visitors, In accordance to COVID-19 recommendations & restrictions we have made the following changes to our Walk-in and Family Medicine services: In efforts to reduce the amount of people in our waiting room and for the health & safety of our patients, staff, & providers we have implemented virtual visit appointments for both walk-in and family medicine. Appointments will be done mostly by phone but there may be instances that your provider will ask to see you in ...person at the clinic. If coming into the clinic for a pre-approved, in-person appointment you will be asked COVID-19 screening questions and it is expected that you will be open and honest in your responses. ** All appointments can be made by calling the clinic at 204-326-4555. Please have your Manitoba Health card available when calling in. Walk-in patients will be called in the order of calls received. Please do not enter clinic unless you have been asked to do so by a staff member or physician. Family medicine patients can continue to call in to book future virtual appointments as needed. For existing appointments, you will receive a call from your provider around the time your appointment was scheduled for. Please do not enter clinic unless you have a pre-approved, in-person appointment scheduled. ** WE ARE NOT A COVID-19 TESTING SITE. Refer to information from Public Health officials about testing sites in our community. Testing sites require a referral from Health Links or a physician. Take the COVID-19 online screening tool prior to contacting Health Links or your physician. The screening tool can be done online at sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/ . The contact number to Health Links is 1-888-315-9257. Due to the reduction of blood donor activities, the Canadian Blood Services is seeing a decline in their blood supply. Please consider donating (and please share this information with your friends & family). It is still safe to donate as individuals.
