OCC Eyecare remains OPEN to care for patients with eye-related medical conditions. We want you to know that you will be able to keep your scheduled appointment with the highest safety standards in mind. For us, the health and safety of our patients is our utmost priority. That is why, we have enhanced many of our policies and practices to ensure high degree of patient safety. Our COVID-19 policies include:... All patients and essential visitors are fully screened for symptoms. Patients and visitors are asked to complete a questionnaire, observe hand cleaning, temperature screening and possibly a secondary check. Patients and visitors must also wear masks. Staff are wearing protective equipment to reduce any viral transmission. We have increased deep cleaning of our entire clinic regularly throughout the day. This includes sanitizing surfaces and patient contact areas(before and after each patient) in all public areas and patient care areas. We have increased airflow throughout the facility and increased negative pressure in patient exams and testing areas, we have increased our HVAC filters to the highest levels so transmission of air pathogens and bacteria is almost eliminated. We have also added UVC lights to our HVAC system as they have been proven to eliminate the spread of viruses and bacteria. Social Distancing Observed - We have reduced patient volume by greater than 50% to enhance patient safety.
