I think I need to clone myself! So many exciting projects in the pipeline for this year (and into next) that I have to pinch myself to believe how far OC Publishing has come since I started the company almost five years ago. Right now we're in the pre-launch phase for Lynda Faye Schmidt's women's fiction/family drama, The Healing; in the midst of the design phase for Ailsa Keppie's memoir, By the Light of the Crescent Moon; final edit and beginning design of Diann Floyd Boehm...'s first middle grade novel, Rise! A Girl's Struggle for More (based on the life of her grandmother who grew up in Oklahoma and broke all the traditions of the era); and just signed the contract for Jackie Arnason's second children's book, Timothy Titus Terrance O'Toole and the Dragon! I am so extremely proud of my authors and today I want to brag on one of the newest additions to the OC Publishing family. We have begun the launch countdown to Lynda Faye Schmidt's women's fiction/family drama, The Healing (coming out on April 23), and Lynda has fully embraced the author platform-building, book marketing process with gusto! Yesterday she launched her absolutely gorgeous author website, which will be the hub of her author activity, with social media and other... marketing spokes emanating from there :) This stunning site was designed by another OC Publishing team member, the very talented illustrator/artist/graphic designer, Grace Laemmler, who also did the cover design and interior layout for The Purple Frog and the interior design and layout for The Healing.
