What do you do when your business loses 75% of its client base in 36hrs due to COVID-19? This is Hannah Cree, Co-Founder of CMNGD Linens whose model is to employ people who are facing poverty and homelessness within their commercial laundry service with an emphasis on the hospitality industry as their main clientele. As you can imagine, local and provincial State’s of Emergency closed all restaurants and owners went into panic to cut costs. ... CMNGD. 36hrs. 75% clients gone. So what do they do? #1. They contact their Board of Directors. A carefully crafted group of individuals whose goal is to think outside the box which matches the value of CMNGD. #2. They change their perspective. What do they have as assets? How can those asset CONTINUE to support their community values by helping others right now? How can they use their assets differently? #3. Looking at liabilities and getting on the phone with those they are leasing, have insurance, and have loans with to discuss differed payments. In other words, ACTION!
