Odds & Errands

Unfortunately, Covid 19 has all but shut us down. We are working on a new and better Odds & Errands for the future (whenever there is a vaccination for this virus). Hopefully my husband, Kirk, will join me in the business, providing a Handyman component.

Another week in the life of Odds & Errands. Had a woman call to find out if I would pick up and deliver food for her. As much as I don't want to be a food delivery business, I will do this. I am finding that there is a real need for people to show compassion to seniors. After working briefly with seniors who need housekeeping help, I have come to realize that there is a terrible loneliness associated with living on one's own. Although it is "better at home", there are drawbacks. One being the lack of human company. I'm thinking that I might expand my list of "helping duties" to include visiting with seniors who just want some company. Need something done? Just give me a call.
