Hello sweet friends! A big part of the learning that we are meant to be experiencing and expanding on right now is in how to take a leadership role in managing our feelings and energy. Regardless of the environment that we find ourselves in, or the state of the world, we always have an opportunity to feel good and to show up as the most expansive versions of ourselves. If you notice that you are feeling weighed down by all of the heaviness in the world, this is the perfect t...ime for you to learn how to generate your own feelings of joy. You can do this with the support of meditation, inner work, journaling, working with someone you trust. Ultimately deepening your relationship with your true self, who is not influenced or limited by the external environment is the best way to experience more JOY. Don't postpone joy until you have learned all of your lessons. Joy is your lesson. Alan Cohen

Hello sweet friends and happy Monday!! What can we expect energetically for this week? Tomorrow is a new moon, the best time for setting new intentions. The energetic theme of this new moon is taking personal responsibility for how we feel and learning how to manage our own energy regardless of the external environment. We give away our true power when we allow our external environment to control how we feel. This is a time of spiritual awakening on a personal and collective... level. This New Moon is in the sign of Capricorn. This is a potent time to embrace the constructive traits of capricorns: discipline, goals, strategy, resourcefulness + wisdom. Boundaries, discipline and structure can set us up for a life that includes more joy and ease. I highly encourage you to do a supportive practice, or ritual to set your intentions for this next moon cycle. My favourite way is to do a guided meditation and do some journaling. Hello sweet friends! Do you have a journaling practice? Writing + journaling create a mind-body-spirit connection. As we write we are present in the moment. We inhabit our body more fully and when we allow the words to flow from us, our healing takes place on a whole other level. We hold worries, fears, memories and joy in our body. The act of journaling allows us to express what is on our mind, letting it all hang out without censoring ourselves. Hello sweet friends! I know that many of my clients and students have mentioned how they are still recovering from all of the sweet indulgences of the holiday season. I am grateful for these opportunities that we have in life to indulge and ENJOY. But it always feels good for me to get back into a more supportive self care routine. When you are wanting to make changes, when is the best time to take action? With my community I teach people to take ALIGNED action, not forced ac...tion. Forced action is when you want something to happen, so you make it happen by taking immediate action. Often this results in less than optimal results and feelings of frustration. Taking aligned action involves waiting until you are energetically aligned and then acting at the right time. Now is a great time for you to work on creating energetic alignment for what you want to create. You can do this through meditation, releasing blocks, and doing the inner work to help you feel aligned with your desires. How do you know when is the right time to take aligned action? When you feel genuine excitement about taking the next step. This is how it feels to be aligned.
