There are so many different types of racks and sling systems that work well with our boats so we thought we'd ask you to show us what you use. Maybe it will inspire other Delta Kayak owners. An awesome time exploring Long Island on Harrison Lake with @tteal0 and @mark_a_klein Harrison Lake is 60km long, is close to home and is notorious for its wind, the #1 hazard on this lake followed very closely by immersion aka cold water. We got to experience #1 and I am so happy to report th at my @deltakayaks 15.5 was absolutely solid in wind waves and following seas. I felt very comfortable and the boat never ever felt like it got away from me in those conditions. It was very, very fun to surf and really gave me confidence after not Kayaking much in the last 4 or 5 years. I was also super impressed with the capacity of the 15.5. This was a 4 day trip but I have every confidence that it would have the space needed for a week long trip. Can’t wait for the next paddling adventure!!! p.s. much to our delight the water was warm enough to swim in too
