Blackfoot Regional Park now accepts reservations for camping starting May 27th! Starting May 2021 you can reserve campsites up to one month in advance for dates after May 27. Leave a message with the park caretaker at 250-759-4008 within at least 24 hours of your desired date, and they’ll call you back to confirm your reservation. It’s that easy! We know that you are excited to try out the new playground at Iver Johnson in Hasler Flats, but the park is not yet ready to open to the public. Please stay tuned to PRRD official social media channels for more information on park opening.

As you may know, restrictions are in place for non-essential travel. As a result, any overnight camping parks in the PRRD will not be accepting campers from outside the travel regions of Northern and Interior Health regions, and out of province, for the duration of this public health order. Please stay in your travel region while we navigate through this difficult and changing time. We look forward to the day that parks are once again available for everyone in BC, and across Canada! Weedy Wednesday - Reintroducing Residential Willy Do you remember Willy? He likes to garden and he loves flowers. For invasive plant management, Willy should proactively do the following: Know the legislated invasive plants within the PRRD.... Ensure that all plants growing in his garden are PLANTWISE. Dispose of Invasive Plants in clear plastic bags for FREE disposal at the local landfills (Bessborough, Chetwynd, North Peace) PLAY or WORK, then CLEAN and then GO when recreating and working in the great outdoors.
