We will be adding small item powder coating to our offering this month. Some items just do not galvanize well and paint is affected by fuel and other oils. This leaves plating and powder coating. For aluminium parts anodising or powder coating both work, however for cast aluminium parts the metal is impure and often riddled with small pits and flaws and for these we clean, blast with glass bead and powder coat. For new billet parts anodising is a great option and we do plan on offering this service in the future. For steel parts we are looking at nickel plating as an alternative to paint or hot dip zinc as it is harder and a protective coating. Zinc is a sacrificial coating so will always fail given time and exposure. Our goal is to offer zinc stripping and nickel plating of all OE fasteners for a longer service life.

We have developed a splice in variable speed fan controller for Land Rover Defender heater fans. We would like to get some feedback on what people think a fair price would be. We are trying to determine how much extra work we can put into the enclosure and making it as close to plug-and-go as possible. We can absolutely tell you that having more than off-useless-full blast is amazing!
