Taking the early days of 2021 to reflect on 2020 and count my travel blessings (even though they were admittedly few and far between this year) . . . Some highlights here from clients’ and my own travel, from top left to bottom right: view from the oceanview balcony room enjoyed by my group of 14 in Roatan in early Feb (no, they didn’t all stay in one room, don’t worry ), view from our balcony on my trip with my favourite human to Jamaica end of Feb (we barely made it rig...ht before the pandemic!), a shot shared with me by my favourite honeymooners who got a mini local getaway in July in Algonquin Park , and another trip with my sidekick to the county (PEC) where we did our fav activity of visiting alllllllllll the local breweries . . . . It’s not what we thought it would be and definitely not what we hoped for, but it’s the little things that count like the few vacations squeezed in pre-pandemic and the local getaways squeezed in in the summer months! . . . Yes, we’re staring down a long winter ahead. But as I lock down for the next month (and a bit beyond it seems), I have hope for a better 2021 - I am looking forward to an amazing year ahead : in my personal travel and my clients’ travel (can’t wait to help you all use up those FTVs!), my family and friends (can’t wait to gather in big groups with you all again when we can!), my day job (many of you may not know that I work for a wonderful tech startup by day called Trint). Here’s to a time in the near future when the term Corona is less anxiety inducing and more cold beer with lime on a lounger in Cancun. See more
