Happy #EarthDay2021! We always pick up at least one or two pieces of rubbish on every outdoor adventure. Sometimes more. Today, we headed out with the objective of picking up as much as possible. And what a large collection of stuff we found on the KVR Trail (part of Canada's Great Trail)! Takeout cups, pieces of foam, bottle caps, plastic coffee stirers, string, bike lights, tissues, masks, receipts and SO MANY (!) cigarette butts. ... We used a slightly holey snack bag to collect it all (with a glove) and put it where it belongs - one of the bins located right along the trail. If you take the time to collect rubbish on the trails (today or any other day), thank you so much for improving our outdoor spaces!
