The bird of paradise has settled into it's new home. I am so very pleased to announce that Of Sound Body’s new location is opening this week. We are starting slowly and carefully. Initially we will be contacting our clients who had previous appointments booked when all business came to a halt. Most urgent care situations will be tended to as promptly as possible. We will be operating a locked door policy. So we ask that you do not arrive too early for your appointment. At bo...oking as well as upon arrival all clients will be asked Covid screening questions. Practitioners will also screen themselves. We ask that all clients come wearing a mask. We have implemented a new fee structure. I have so much gratitude to so many amazing people in my life who helped bring this to fruition. A beautiful blessing and smudging ceremony took place today to prepare the space to receive our longstanding as well as new clients. It was a beautiful event. So apparently we are able to begin massage therapy in dire situations. So unexpectedly this is how I eased myself back into action. Was visiting at a local neighbour farm with my granddaughter today. We have been making regular visits because we are outside and usually no one else around. Perfect for social distancing. My granddaughter lives in the same house,so we are together everyday. (lucky me) . We noticed a gimpy baby goat. 1 whole week old. Reported this to the fine ...folks of the farm. Well I was able to put my skills to the test. Through observation of the angle of the leg and by palpating I determined that in all likelihood she had a broken leg. I assisted and held her keeping her calm while her leg was splinted. Actually she did not put up much of a fight. Closest I have been to a goat in my life let alone administer this kind of care. #lovewhatIdo #mightmassagegoatsforaliving #didnotneedtowearamask It was a great day for my soul

Clinic update. So for those of you who were acquainted with the fact that there was an abundance of greenery at the old clinic, have a gander. My plant ladies bless their hearts, took on the challenge of repotting all of them, including my magnificent Bird of Paradise, to prepare them for their new home. It was quite the undertaking as you can see. Thank you Allana, Tara and Teghan.

Well I promised more pictures. Major renovations are done now. Cleaning, touchups and then we can start moving things in. We as a profession are just starting to hear about how to begin back slowly. We still need some clarification but looks like maybe in the upcoming weeks we will have be able to start seeing some of our clients again.
