We are doing deliveries in Kamloops of ground beef for $6.50 per lb (min order of 10 lbs) and mixed bags (ground beef, steaks, roasts, ribs and stew meat) for $225. We also sell beef jerky, breakfast sausages & pepperoni. Message us to order.

Onto the next job! The majority of the cows and calves are now out on pasture. Now it’s time to work up and plant some fields and do some more fencing in between checking pastures, tidying up bookwork from calving and delivering beef. Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers out there! I am so lucky to be one myself and for that, I consider myself very lucky to be raising three wonderful farm boys. Who are you celebrating today?

We always must plan where this girl goes. She is known to take the cowherd in the complete opposite direction of the gate. Two years ago, she was in a 320 acre pasture with her calf and another 29 other pairs. After a long morning, of her taking the herd in every direction but the corral, we successfully got 29 pairs in the corral. This girl was still at the top of the 160 acres, in the trees. After we hauled some loads home, she finally decided that she would gave in and she trailed her calf to the corral. Needless to say, we make sure she goes to a small pasture close to home now.

These little ones are able to explore the barnyard. They are everywhere during chore time!! It’s fun watching them run, jump and gain their independence. They sure are growing fast!
