Hey everyone, I hope you're all having a great week! Quick update: I will be heading back to work soon so orders will be very limited! I will be changing my menu to reflect this. Due to our anticipated move, we will be not be taking any Father's Day orders. Thank you so much for your continued support!

We've been a little absent on social media, but we're still here! Our little family is in the process of purchasing a new home, plus trying to prep mother's Day orders, PLUS I will be heading back to work soon! (Don't worry, I'll still be baking!) At least I have my wine and chocolate ... *Have you guys seen this crazy housing market?!? It's ridiculous out there!! Wish us luck! Custom sheet cake, layers: strawberry cake, homemade banana pudding, banana slices, fresh whipped cream, strawberries The fresh banana pudding was a first for me. I got the banana flavour by steeping the milk with fresh ripe bananas. No artificial flavours! What a simple and fun birthday cake!

I decided to make pancakes this rainy Sunday. Instead of syrup we used plum compote (frozen from our stash) and topped it with fresh whipped cream and fruit. This was a very delicious and simple breakfast Whipping your own cream at home is quick and so worth it, plus less or no sugar! Tip: put your beaters and bowl in the freezer for 10-15mins before whipping! It takes about 5 mins on high. ... Happy Sunday Everyone!!
