The world has changed in many ways since I began my journey in this life. One of the changes I AM PROUD TO SEE is the movement towards inclusiveness and acceptance in the world. For me it is right for two people who love each other to be able to express that love and be together without judgment or fear or shame. A loving couple should be able to live comfortably and openly in a world that accepts them and which allows them not to be afraid and to contribute. We still have a ...ways to go to get rid of our small world ways but we are getting there. It takes courage to accept your normal when those around you seem different. My prayer .... my hope is that we learn to recognize the Gift that our differences bring to each other and that someday we will learn to expand our definition of normal to include both ourselves and those around us living a loving, joyful and purposeful life.
