Meet this special guy in my life ... Believe Essential Oil. My mentor once gifted this oil to me, and even though I'm not so into tree oils, I was immediately in love with Believe. I remember feeling emotional, it spoke to me so much. I diffuse this oil when I want to feel inspired. It also makes for a great cologne for the gentlemen, since it's not so flowery! ... I highly recommend this oil. Send me a message if you'd like to learn more!

Hey nature fans! We can all appreciate how plants can really uplift a space, but sometimes it can be all too easy to forget when to give the plants some TLC... If you enjoy greenery in your home, do you prefer it to be real, or does fake greenery do the trick?

Throwback to Valentine's Day, 1999, when Mike and I got engaged! We went to see a movie, and Mike was too nervous to remember what the movie was about. He then took me to the pond on the MRU campus, where he got down on one knee and proposed! I was beyond ecstatic, Mike was speechless and relieved after I said yes! We didn't have an engagement ring, so we substituted it with a promise ring. Since my parents were in Japan and Mike couldn't get my dad's permission to court me, my mom sent my sister to inspect him here in Canada. They immediately got along fine, and Mike's grandparents were able to meet my parents at Osaka Port, Japan on a cruise trip. They had a fantastic visit, and the rest is history! Happy Valentine's Day, from Shinko and the Scott family

Who feels like curling up with a blanket and a good book, diffusing your favourite blend of oils? I just might do that with my all-time favourite read: Harvest of Rubies by Tessa Afshar. I love biblical fiction and romance, and the heroine, Sarah, reminds me so much of myself. Sarah can speak numerous languages, keep complex accounts, and solve incredible mysteries. She is independent, smart, and capable, yet she believes her accomplishments are the measure of her self-wort...h. I've struggled with similar feelings, but this book is a reminder to tap into my spiritual identity and find in it unconditional love outside of worldly success. - Shinko
