As schools turn to technology to catch online cheaters, students are reporting amped up anxiety and discomfort. Prof Todd Cunningham says instructors and students should discuss ahead of time whether there are any barriers that would jeopardize their performance in a remotely proctored exam. A new study led by Prof Chloe Hamza has revealed surprising findings about the mental health of postsecondary students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Students with pre-existing mental health concerns are faring similarly or better, while students without pre-existing mental health conditions have reported increasing rates of depressive symptoms and anxiety. https://bit.ly/313XDme
