However the industry norm is to avoid placing the roast date and , instead, place an expiry date. Coffee starts to go downhill in terms of freshness after 15 days (some will argue sooner and some later).... We notice the difference in freshness after 15 days. We don’t sell coffee out of roastery past 7 days and in most cases we are turning over our super fresh coffee within 2-3 days!
