The program provides wage subsi...dies to employers from not-for-profit organizations, the public sector, and private sector organizations with 50 or fewer full-time employees, to create quality summer work experiences for young people aged 15 to 30 years. Funded employers are not restricted to hiring students all youth aged 15 to 30 years may be eligible participants. Members of Dance City Academy couldn't get together to perform at community events this year because of COVID-19, so the dancers decided to give back to the community that supports them so much with a donation to the food bank. Vehicles, some of them decorated, pulled up to the Central Okanagan Food Bank depot one by one last Friday night. Each dancer brought a decorated box of food donations.
