The new North Okanagan Conservation Fund is now accepting grant submissions until September 30! The submission forms and general information on the Fund can be found on the RDNO web site http://www.rdno.ca//plann/north-okanagan-conservation-fund. The Okanagan Collaborative Conservation Program (OCCP) has been engaged by the RDNO to assist proponents with the granting and reporting process for the Conservation Fund. OCCP will also coordinate a committee of technical experts that have clearly established criteria to ensure proposed projects are technically sound, and contribute to important conservation goals. Learn more about the secrets of the grasslands! After the AGM (June 19th @ 1 PM via zoom), the GCC will be hosting a free live online forum called Grass Talks... at 3 PM. Kristi Iverson, Nick Hamilton, Dennis Lloyd and Peter Jones will give three short presentations on recent grassland research and studies and then be available for questions and conversation.
