The Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance for small & medium businesses will provide forgivable loans to qualifying commercial property owners, to cover 50% of 3 monthly rent payments payable by eligible business tenants experiencing financial hardship during April, May & June. The Loans will be forgiven if the mortgaged property owner agrees to reduce the eligible Tenants’ rent by at least... 75% for the 3 months under an agreement that will also include a pledge not to evict the tenant while this agreement in place. The Tenant would cover the remainder, up to 25% of the rent. A program with cooperation at the core.

What an excellent event to network with fellow CRE people and put a face to a name. We learned about 2020 market trends and industry growth in the retail real estate sector. From mixed-use high rises to the transformation of parkades, we've had the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects throughout the Okanagan.
