We hope yesterday’s event has equipped you with some professional online networking skills and introduced you to the remote work world. Next up is our Networking Round-table Event. Join us on March 25th at 6 pm for a fun night of networking with Kelowna’s top employers. Maybe you’ll even find your dream job! The OBSA is excited to connect OC’s best and brightest students with some of the most successful local businesses in the Okanagan. We have invited 9 local businesses to partake, and as the event rolls out, each student will get a chance to rotate between industries and learn more about landing their dream job! Tickets are available for purchase, reserve your spot today and join us for a fun evening of connection! Teams are asked to work remotely in response to a case selected by CPABC and a chance to win prizes up to $2500 and be featured across CPABC communications. Please visit the link below to ...find more information, schedule, and registration. https://events.eply.com/CPABCAnnualBusinessCaseCompetition2 Competing in the CPABC case competition really helped me contextualize many of the abstract concepts that I have learned throughout the school. Many times, learning in school simply consists of memorizing concepts and facts, but CPABC granted me the opportunity to apply these in real-life business scenarios, allowing me to develop a more comprehensive understanding of the business world -Scott Quon, Simon Fraser University, 2020 Case Competition Winner
