Hey everyone! We wanted to give back to the community in some way over the holidays. With 2020 being such a crazy year we put our heads together and decided that we were going to raise $1500 to donate to a charity in need. ... We then thought, how can we do more. So we took it a step further, and with a suggestion from Head Coach Jamie Boreham, we decided to do 7 days of giveaways leading up to Christmas. After that, we thought, we can probably do more. So, we went a little further and asked one of our community partners Safeway to match our $1500 in Gift Certificates and they did even better giving us $2000! We took our $1500, combined it with the $2000 from Safeway, and got 14, $250 Gift Certificates! We then went to Mamas for Mamas - Kelowna/West Kelowna and told them how we wanted to help out! So, for the next 7 days, 2 Mama’s a day will each receive a $250 Safeway Gift Certificate! Thank you to John (Safeway Manager) and Ryan (Head Office) for your participation. A huge shout out to the team at Mamas for Mamas - Kelowna/West Kelowna for all of the work you are doing in this community, you gals are amazing!
