This is one of our favourites For our younger participants your challenge is 10 hrs of sleep. Set yourself up for success; bedtime routines are not just for children. Adults who participate in a bedtime routine set themselves up for a GOOD sleep. 1. Wear PJs not work-out or other clothes; get your brain thinking about sleep not about working out. Our brain is conditioned to these subtle cues. 2. Have a bath or shower.... 3. Read something light not political that stirs up emotion or educational or work related which fires up your brain. 4. Keep your phone out of your room-yes they still sell old school alarm clocks. 5. Day 4: Taking a break from the computer and kitchen table. Many of us have had to adapt to new work or study environments. This may mean more or less natural movement opportunities during the day. If you have been sitting, in one position, for 15 minutes get up, stretch, walk around your table or desk before sitting again.
