Today was the last week of field training for our athletes. On the whiteboard it said we’d finish with 30min of conditioning. Instead we finished with a bunch of games like this one! ... Sometimes (especially in times like this) it’s not always about doing the hardest workout. It’s about having fun, creating community, laughing, and relieving stress. Good luck in your exams athletes!! See more

Friday night agility work!
Hey it’s Monday! Motivation is a good thing. We often need a good dose of it to get us moving in the right direction. BUT... We can’t rely on it. Why not? Motivation is a feeling. And feelings come and go at just about every new thought or moment that passes by. So relying on feelings to direct you will leave you moving in multiple directions all the time and never really getting anywhere. Rely on habit instead. Convict yourself of the truth of why you’re doing something. If it’s important to you then it needs to be done regardless of what you feel. Create a system (a habit) of how, when, and where you’re going to do what you need to do. Then do it. And evaluate your emotions afterwards. Feelings make great followers. They will line up with the habit after you’ve done it. They make terrible leaders. Don’t follow your feelings. Let them follow you. See more
I DID TEN!! Three months in and @tori_sitwell has been crushing it! The goal here was 150 for 8.. but she got 10
Quote of the week brought to you by @gregnuckols. There was a study done which took two groups of men and put them both on the same training program. One group simply received the program and worked through it. ... The other group additionally received a pill that they were told was a steroid. Only it wasn’t actually a steroid.. it was nothing but a sugar pill. The group that thought they were taking steroids finished the program with significantly better results - more size and more strength than the other group. What you EXPECT out of something has a strong effect on what you GET OUT OF it. I’ll often say if you go into something expecting a bad time then don’t be upset when that’s exactly what you get. Where in your life are you struggling simply because you’re approaching it with a y mindset? What are you putting into it? What are you expecting to get out of it? The answers to those two questions could make all the difference. See more
