Dear 2020, You have brought a year of absolute hardship, change and uncertainty to myself, friends, family and co-workers. Although a strange year. I have never been so inspired by those around me in terms of how to handle this Pandemic and move forward.... People around me who had been in a job/a single career path for 15 years saw this as an opportunity to move on and take time for themselves. I've seen vendors in the wedding industry realize that they have enjoyed their time in weddings but have decided to call it quits and move onto new career paths. I've seen people loose their jobs and pivot into a more profitable career than prior to COVID and truly capitalize on this situation as an opportunity. Is it weird to say I am actually thankful for this time and the ability to reflect on what is right for me and my future goals?! I have never experienced so much change in a year as I have this year. From job changes, new relationships/friendships and much more. I am thankful for it all and I hope 2021 brings all of us positivity in a way we never knew possible. Comment if you agree!
