Finally finished up at my summer project house, new basement fixtures installed. Last plumber renovated the master bathroom group, and vented it into a 1.5" cheater vent, customer kept hearing flapping noise in the wall. So I had fun up in the crawl space getting that vent all connected and wrapped up today, feels great to be all done finally. Got a late call today from one of my great clients who had a leaking water main and no water for the last 24 hrs. Another company patched it up, but couldn’t return today so I went out and saved the day. To make matters worse the City couldn’t find the corporation stop, then once they did it was stripped and wouldn’t shut off. Finally we got it off and did the repair, however once repaired then the water meter was clogged and started to leak after reconnection. Luckily city ...guys had a new meter on them so that was replaced. Needless to say they’re a happy client and their water is back on and flowing smoothly.
