A message from our President & CEO, Jim Caldwell.

OK Tire 169 Street will remain open. We will be having certain protocols within the store in an effort to keep our staff and their families and our customers and their families safe during these unprecedented times. We know that when we can all go back to normal it will be spring and everyone will need their tires changed over and at the same time we would like to keep our staff working so that they can continue to support their families. In order to do so we are offering... a few options as follows: We have a key drop box where you could just park your car, drop your keys and you wouldn’t have to enter the store at all or we are even willing to bring the service truck right to your house to change over your tires if this is an option and lastly, if we can we would also be willing to come to your house and pick up your vehicle, do the work, and then deliver it back for those of you in the Spruce Grove or Edmonton areas. For all of these options we would be happy to take an etransfer for payment, again to avoid having to come in. The store will continue to be open and customers are welcome to come in still. We are taking the following precautions when people are coming in: - any staff who has travelled to high risk Coronavirus areas or have family that have done so or have been in proximity to anyone suspected or confirmed to have the virus are to self isolate for 14 days. (None of us or our workers have travelled in the past two months) - any of our staff who are feeling sick or unwell are asked to stay home and self isolate until 24 hours after the symptoms dissipate. - increased cleaning and sanitation in all areas of our building. Extra sanitary gloves and sanitary cleaning supplies available for staff and clients at all times. - keep our staff up to date with notifications with regards to the health and safety with regards to the coronavirus as the Canada and provincial health agencies direct. - keep all employees up to date with evolving employment standards and directives from our company and as legislated or directed by government officials. - we also ask that customers try to drop their vehicles and not stay in the waiting area, if possible. - all vehicles are being wiped down upon entry and after work has been completed with antibacterial products.
