Important clinical trials across the country were paused or delayed because of the pandemic, and at OCT, we are working hard to continue to make progress. This month is National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month in the US, and we are looking for Alzheimer’s clinical trial volunteers in the Okanagan Valley and beyond! Proud to highlight our next staff member, Misty, for #MeetTheTeamMonday. After 22 years in the emergency medical field, Misty felt like it was a perfect transition to become a research assistant at OCT. Misty believes the team does such a good job of ensuring everyone is comfortable and fully informed. There is never a dull moment at Misty's house as it is full of furry friends, which are all rescues, including 3 dogs and a cat, Francine, Boston, Taco and Barbara Ann Beyonce.... When not working, you can find Misty working on writing rap parodies, which she loves! Next time you are in the clinic, ask Misty about her next diddy.
