I was able to take some time to map out the first couple of months of 2021 and found I have a little space to still accept some new orders. Knitting up the last Ewelme Sweater before Christmas. What a gift it’s been to be able to knit these orders for you all! . . Over Christmas I’ll be organizing the Olann Studio so I can start the new year off with clarity. My brain works so much better when my surroundings are tidy, so at the beginning of every year I love to Spring clean my office so I can clearly see the path ahead. And I have so many ideas swirling in my mind for new designs, so I’m going to cultivate th...e space needed, both figuratively and literally, to bring these ideas to life. . . As the New Year approaches I have temporarily suspended orders on my website so I can dedicate time to planning 2021. I have so many ideas for the year ahead, new wool to try and design collaborations to plan, and taking the time to allow the creative process to unfold is so important. I can’t wait to unveil the fruits of this labour with you soon! . . I want to thank you, most sincerely, for all your support this year. In what was such a different and uncertain time for us a...ll, I have felt so deeply connected and held up by my community. I have never knit so much for so many, and it makes me feel quite emotional in all the best ways to think of all those Olann pieces being gifted and worn. . .
