Happy International Womens Day! A loving shout out to all the vibrant, strong women in our lives who mentor and guide us. And an offering of encouraging, nurturing words for those who struggle. A nod to fictional character Sylvia Kramer for overcoming and enduring, and for being an inspiration.
A Newfoundland reader sent me this beautiful message: I just finished reading your book Old Broad Road and it was everything I had hoped it would be. From the time I saw it advertised in The Telegram I wanted to read it. I live in a little community about 15 minutes drive from Chapels Cove so I am quite familiar with your description of the communities mentioned in your book such as Holyrood, Bay Roberts and all along the Conception Bay highway and St. John’s. once I started (reading) it I couldn’t put it down. It was very well written and I totally enjoyed it. Could you please let me know when Part 2 is published as I would love to read that too. Thanks again for giving me such a great read.
A Goodreads member writes: "I was passed this book along from my in-laws. My husband grew up in Newfoundland, not the part that’s featured in this book, however listening to the descriptions of the locations in the book was beautiful. They kept me interested quite a while until the thriller and suspense part of the book picked up. At that point I was completely invested in the story and the people in it. I definitely recommend this book."
Messages like this one make my day: "Good Morning- Sometimes you read a book and can't wait for the next one- your book is one of them.. any idea when the next book will be published? Thanks" To answer that question, I don't know when the publisher plans its release, but will keep you posted. :)
