If you're not shredding the leaves and mulching garden beds, get them to the curb! PSA: avoid mulching with Norway maple or walnut tree leaves; these have phytotoxins that will do the opposite of nourishing your plants (this is a bit contentious among gardeners--don't @ me!)

Good minds are calling into question the very principles on which our approach to heritage preservation and planning are based and proposing a return to practices that in past impinged on stable neighborhoods and demolished historic buildings.
