Heidelberg history trivia challenge! While the restaurant has been referred to by many variations of the Heidelberg name over the years, the original name given to it by Heinrich Müller in 1860 was the Great Western Hotel. In the early years of the hotel it also contained a general store where our main dining room stands today.
