In 2003, just 30 of these adorable creatures were left in the wild but thanks to the Marmot Recovery Foundation and their partners, there are now around 200! While we know Chef Ronald St. Pierre is the culinary genius behind Locals Restaurant, his wife Tricia brings adaptive genius to the business as well. She accomplishes more in a week than many of us do in a month and seems to have the ability to take on any challenge with beautiful style, innovation and imagination. When covid descended upon our communityshe saw an opportunity to bring antique windows into the restaurant and further enhance the charm. When health orders mandated outside seating only, she applied for a grant and now Locals features one of the most beautiful patio dining experiences in the Valley. We want to give a huge shoutout to the indomitable Tricia St. Pierre and love having Locals Food from the heart of the Island as our partner.
