Old Mill Marina is hiring for both of our Dorset locations! We are looking for staff able to start in late April or early May to assist with boat cleaning, spring launch, and retail operations (store and fuel). These positions are ideal for college or university students looking to spend the season at the cottage! We are also looking for retail store and fuel dock attendants. A great summer job for high school age students, we can offer full or part time for July and August, ...plus weekends in Spring and Fall. Email your resume to [email protected]. Proud to support such a great local service group and initiative. This means the old bottle trailer by the gas dock is gone and a yearround shed is now in place beside the waste and recycling containers. All the money stays here in Dorset, supporting local projects that Lions undertake. Please be sure to donate your empties and support Dorset!

Happy Labour Day everyone! Boats are coming in fast and furious on both Kawagama and Lake of Bays. Please note that Sunday is our last day of Summer Hours. Starting Monday, we are on Fall Hours, which are Monday through Saturday, 9 to 5, and Sundays 10 to 4.

Someone's 13 today! And apparently becoming a teenager doesn't change the excitement of an early AM ice cream birthday treat! Happy Birthday Angus!

Bittersweet news. Kudos to the four brothers on a FANTASTIC JOB this summer! But sad to see them already leaving. The good news is they'll be back next year!!!! All Old Mill Marina staff start their new diets on Monday! We may well have been their best customers...
