We are finished in the greenhouses for the summer - no more sales until the fall! We’ve moved into the gardens - annuals are planted and things are blooming. Stop by for a visit we’d love to see you!!

Last Christmas Sale tomorrow! Friday, December 15th from 10am to 2pm in the Greenhouse Rotunda. Last chance for centerpieces, poinsettias, bouquets and new this week we have vase arrangements and bundles of greens! Hope to see you there!

We’ve been busy creating Christmas items for your home, table and as gifts!! Bouquets, centrepieces, poinsettias and more. We have student processing products as well - perfect stocking stuffers. Sales this week are Thursday Dec. 7th in the Library from 12-1pm and Friday, Dec. 8th at the Greenhouse from 10am to 2pm. Hope to see you there!

Our 2nd year Horticulture students have been busy in their processing class. Stop by to pick up jams, jellies, pickles, ferments, body products and much more! Wednesday Nov 22nd from 11am to 1pm in the Land Sciences Atrium. Cash, cheque, debit and credit accepted.

In October the first year Horticulture students - all 50 of them! - spent 27 hours working in the Botanic Gardens, Wetlands and Greenhouse. A hands-on learning opportunity that accomplishes a tremendous amount of work in a short period of time. The garden staff cannot thank you enough! The gardens are ready for winter, and ahead of the game for spring. Thanks so much!!

Greenhouse Sale this Friday we have tulip bulbs (Mt Tacoma double white) and Pumpkin Planters!! How can you resist these little treasures stuffed with succulents. Tomorrow from 12-1pm.

Starting this Friday while supplies last we have hardy lily bulbs for sale!! 15+ varieties of Asiatic lilies including College Sunrise, part of the Olds College Centennial Lily Series. Price $5-$7.50 a bulb and 3 for the price of 2!! Drop by the Greenhouse Sale this Friday between 12 and 1 pm.

These forced tulips add a hit of green in front of the Land Sciences Building! Red, white and striped blooms should be showing soon in honour of Canada's 150th!
